MARC JACOBS eyewear collection was launched in 2005. His eyewear displays out standing style
in both sunglasses and eyewear.
The Marc Jacobs eyewear collection
explores details from the celebrated designers highly lauded
ready-to-wear collections.
These particular details include
delicate appliqué floral decorations, signature push-lock
details carried over from the accessories collection and shapes
that compliment the vintage-inspired styles Jacobs is known for.
New styles include rounded acetate sunglasses personalized with
metal buckles and a color palette that favors shades that are
simultaneously refined and original.
Color combinations include:
glossy black frames paired with shaded grey lenses, glossy blue
with dark blue lenses, glossy red with shaded grey lenses,
glossy yellow with shaded brown lenses, glossy brown with dark
olive lenses, white with shaded brown lenses, and many more.
The new floral decorations shown on oversized sunglasses and
sophisticated optical frames are inspired by the fabrics used by
the designer in his ready-to-wear collections.
Dainty stylized
flowers traced by sparkling Swarovski rhinestones mimic
embroidered gazor, while leaves and buds with crystals and studs
light up the pastel colors, which include: green crystal, light
havana, purple, black, dark bordeaux, light brown for optical
frames and the chic shades of sunglasses, which include: white,
pink, red, light blue and black.
Rounding off the collection are lightweight metal frames,
personalized with slim metal logo plates secured by tiny studs.
The logo is engraved, standing out against subtle but
distinctive colors like havana gold, black gold, purple brown,
and green ruthenium and cyclamen.
MARC JACOBS remains very
committed to charitable organizations, and supported to around
33 charities, including Cancer Care and the AIDS foundation. |
