dr. leser's extensive training includes undergraduate studies at the university of california at los angeles (ucla) and the california state university at northridge (csun). he received a bachelor's of science in environmental and occupational health from csun. dr. leser's doctorate in optometry was earned at the southern california college of optometry at fullerton, where he graduated with honors and received the bausch and lomb outstanding contact lens clinician award. |
| he pursued his internship at the fort ord u.s. army base, in monterey, ca, the v.a. outpatient clinic in los angeles, and the optometric centers of los angeles and fullerton. dr. leser's research was in early detection of glaucoma utilizing visual field testing and evaluating early visual field loss. dr. leser pursued additional training to obtain board certification in the treatment of eye diseases. he previously taught in the contact lens and family practice clinics at the southern california college of optometry. dr. leser also serves as an assistant chief examiner, as well as a senior and supervisory examiner with the national board of examiners in optometry. (the national board administers licensure examinations for over 40 states.) |
